About the Author

Published in 2025, Annie-Rae Houston is a romance author who writes warm, heartfelt stories steeped in history, heroines, and humor.

She has been a lifelong hopeless romantic, often a fan of works by Nora Roberts and Beverly Jenkins. Her own meetcute began at a church right before the pandemic, so naturally she's obssessed with writing about people who fall for each other despite internal conflict, background catatrophes, or time and space.

When she's not writing, she's playing tabletop games (DND & getting into Warhammer), baking healthy desserts, and watching video-game livestreams.
